Asalamu alaykum and hi all! Today I will be doing a post on 10+ gift ideas for a guy! Whether it's your father, brother, husband, son, or whoever else, these gifts will be quite handy! I decided to do a blog on this topic as whenever I am discussing what to get for my husband or my dad or someone, I always come to the same conclusion: there's nothing to get for a guy! For a girl, you can get everything...but for a guy? Blehhh!!! =p So I decided to do this blog to help others who are stuck on ideas for their husbands or fathers or any "he"'s basically! =D I hope it helps and good luck! <3 Feel free to take photos of your gifts and send them below in the comments! ^-^
Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are.. up above the world so high, na na na na na na..you’ve all heard the rhyme right? Today, my dear stars..I am going to talk about you as a little cute star twinkling in the night sky. I’m going to be focussing on a quote of Marilyin Monroe actually..I’m not a big fan of her or anything, but I just love the following quote of hers. (Hey there cutie pie! ^-^)
I lie on my bed and stare up at the ceiling. I find words..words to write..but I can't manage to explain what's in my heart. I think about my life..my past..my present..my future. What am I going to do? What DO I want to do? The answer to the second question is simple. I want to do a lot of things..fulfill a lot of dreams..but how can I if I don't make a new start? If I don't make a new chapter in my life? If I don't bring a new Rukhsar into existence? I must create a new start, create a new me. And that is exactly what I will do now. I just feel like I've wasted my life. I've just been over thinking, being my own worst critic, crying over little things, worrying and stressing over nothing, killing myself. Killing myself with these useless little problems that I made into mountains and let them overtake me. If I want to fulfill my dreams, I know I have to forget the old me and start a new me. Asalamu alaykum and hi all! Today I am going to be doing a blog post on how to make your own jar! DIY..yepee! ;) I actually had a glass jar (it was originally for some kind of pasta sauce!) and I had kept it for nearly a year..but I did not know what to do with it! Until one day I decided to do some DIY as I was painting and I decided to try some design out on my jar and see how it turned it! ^-^ Anyways here I go..step by step on what I did..click next on the slideshow and read the captions at the bottom as they are the instructions! Feel free to try it out and I hope u enjoy making it! I definitely did! Well sort of..I wasn't that happy as it didn't turn out as good as I wanted it but never mind..worth a go I guess! ^-^
Asalamu alaykum all, today I have found a MASSIVE proof that the Quran is right and Islam is the true religion. This blog is mainly aimed at non-Muslims, especially atheists but it is a good thing - actually a GREAT thing if Muslims read it too as they can spread the message and share it...especially if they are preaching and showing people the true way.
Anyway isn't it strange that Firaun died in the sea AND his body was also found there?...as stated in the Quran Allah cursed Firaun and all the disbelievers that were with him as they did not listen to Hazrat Moosa and so they were drowned in the sea...isn't it strange that he was drowned by Allah in the sea AND his body was ALSO found in the red sea?? As Allah states in the Quran: "We shall preserve your body today that you may be a lesson for those who come after you! As many, a man is heedless of our signs!" [10:92] Asalamu alaykum all, today I am writing about wives in Islam. One important saying I will be focusing on is: "Your wives are your partners, not your slaves." - Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
In today's nation, it is common for wives to have the responsibility of looking after the house, cleaning up, looking after the kids, making food, etc, while the husband works. What all brothers need to keep in mind is this is not the Islamic way to treat your wives, this is the cultural way that is passed down from most Asian families, and this is not right. The Prophet (pbuh) never gave the whole responsibility of the house to his wives, rather the Prophet (pbuh) himself helped his wives with the household duties unlike today's nation. I have a Hadith which I will share with you that proves my point (this is in my own words as it is easier to understand but it is still on the same lines as the actual one): Aisha – May Allah be pleased with her – was asked about the manners of the Prophet in his home, to this she said he helped her in doing the family duties and when he heard the call of prayer, he went out. (Al-Bukhari). This shows that some brothers of this nation are not following the Sunnah as they are not helping their wives in their household duties. If you think about it, don't your wives get tired? Don't they feel exhausted after doing the same work every single day? Can't they get ill by doing so much work? These questions should arise in every brother's mind and every brother should say to himself: "I should help my wife in her household duties rather than letting her do everything by herself, this is not the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh)". As I stated at the beginning, the Prophet (pbuh) said: "Your wives are your partners, not your slaves." This shows that it is a big sin to leave all the household duties for your wives to do. You should also help them and I guarantee you, you will definitely make your wife feel loved and happy. You will also take a lot of burdens off her shoulders as she will know she doesn't have much work to do as her husband will help her. |
